Event Planning
I am a planner by nature. Even within my social groups in my personal life, I am the person who organizes the outings, coordinates group trips, and hosts the birthday parties.

For this reason, I have sought out professional roles that involve event planning as well.
In high school, I interned at East West Players theatre company and helped organize and run an annual "One Night Only" fundraising event, which had over 200 attendees. In this position, I worked on both the planning side of things (coordinating the catering, coming up with relevant event activities, etc.), as well as the practical side (taking volunteer and attendee sign ins, running the raffle, etc.). The position gave me a glimpse into everything that goes into making a large-scale event run smoothly.
In college I was the Director of Internal Affairs Director for BareStage Productions. One of my main responsibilities in this role was the organization and execution of all company events and socials, from our very first general informational meeting of the year to our final annual company-wide banquet. I ended up organizing over a dozen events, including talent shows, welcome mixers, and group viewings of outside productions.
As one of the board directors, I had a yearly budget to manage, and it was my job to decide how many events could be executed given that budget and the company's already busy schedule. I was responsible for everything from an event's conception to booking the location, getting food catered, and marketing (creating graphics, Facebook events, and emails).
Outside of the aforementioned event planning positions, I have also planned B2B events as an event planning intern at l'Atelier des Chefs in Paris, and I have coordinated catering and transportation for camp excursions as a Resident Counselor at the English Learning Center. I've organized weekly brunches and monthly trips as the Social Chair of BareTroupe, and I've set up shoot days for both crew and talent as one of the owners of Real Adult Humans.
I am passionate about creating spaces for people to be able to connect with each other, and I am always looking for opportunities to bring those spaces to life!
