Real Adult Humans is a production company that creates comedic videos for the internet.
The other two company owners and I started Real Adult Humans in 2018, and since then we have produced over 2 seasons of videos.
We have a small but extremely dedicated team, and together we handle every aspect of the video creation, including writing, acting, directing, filming, and editing.
As the company's owners, Shannon and Greg and I take on the bulk of the administrative work as well: we take turns coordinating shoot days, ordering costumes and props, finding filming locations, and running social media and marketing.

Leadership
The ultimate mission of Real Adult Humans is twofold: we hope to highlight women, and particularly women of color, in our comedy, since so often the comedy scene is dominated by cis white men; and we hope to use our comedy to point out how ridiculous society can be.
For example, in one of our videos, "If Childbirth Were Like Running a Marathon," we poke fun at societal expectations for women to bear children by comparing childbirth to competitive running. In another, called "The Morning After Conference," we use a post-coital press conference to exaggerate the type of scrutiny society subjects women's sex lives to, in comparison to those of men.
In turning these real-life problems into comedy sketches, we hope to bring light to serious subjects in a more digestible way.
Additionally, it is our dream that women and people of color will continue to fill the comedy scene more and more, until our sketches aren't unusual at all!
